Marketing Automation Developer (HTML/CSS) – 6 month FTC

London – Hybrid (40% office based)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Automation team, as a Marketing Automation Developer on a 6 month FTC.

This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for creating new HTML landing pages, emails and templates in both Eloqua and Optimizely. You will report to the Marketing Automation Manager, and be part of a wider team who service our businesses digital marketing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Use HTML / CSS to develop visually stunning, responsive and engaging user-driven landing pages in Eloqua and CMS websites.

Take landing pages/microsite/website from initial layout to a fully responsive, functioning, live sites/pages.

Build new and improve existing HTML templates for landing pages and emails

Collaborate with colleagues, creatives and user experience professionals to deliver development projects.

Maintain working knowledge of content management and marketing automation solutions.

Maintain beautiful, structured and well-documented code.

Use JavaScript to run A/B tests.

Use JavaScript to carry out simple calculations and data look ups, format data captured by forms held within landing/web pages, capture campaign id and support multi step forms.

Identify other ways JavaScript/CSS/HTML can help improve customer experiences and/or meet business challenges..

Upskilling colleagues’ knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Skills and Experience:

Educated to minimum A Level/BTEC

Certification in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3

Proven and strong experience of front-end development in a commercially focused organisation

Exceptional HTML / CSS coding ability and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

Experience of A/B testing

Understanding of JavaScript

Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadline are essential

Experience of working with a Document Management System and Marketing Automation Platform in both a B2B and consumer regulated environment (ideal but not essential)
