Master Technician – Leicestershire – Family-run IndependentSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year (dependent on experience and skills)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus scheme available
Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities
Location: LeicestershireJob Summary:A well-established, family-run independent garage is seeking an Master Technician to join our busy workshop in Leicestershire. With over 80 years of service, we provide high-quality repairs and maintenance to our loyal customers.If you’re skilled in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company that values its employees.Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various makes and models.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Conduct MOT repair work, clutch replacements, timing belt/chain replacements, and A/C servicing.
- Use dealer diagnostic equipment for accurate fault identification.
- Carry out four-wheel laser alignments using Hunter System/Pro Align.
- Fit and balance tyres with precision.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Own toolkit required.
- Full UK driving license.
