They guide the adopter through the process of adoption.Summary: Path of Hope Rescue is based in Spokane, WA. This role is fully remote. A Matchmaker’s primary focus is matching the right dog to the right home. We take the time to learn about adopters and what they are looking for in a dog. We believe by taking our time up front, we can prevent many problems down the road. Excellent communication and a passion for animal welfare are essential for this role.Rescue Mission: At Path of Hope Rescue we save pregnant dogs and puppies from high kill shelters in the South. We are based in Spokane, WA and find adoptive homes locally in the PNW. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission.Vision: Eliminating euthanasia of dogs in the South by decreasing the amount of dogs breeding unchecked. You will use matching criteria, temperament and behavior of the dogs, as well as understanding the lifestyle and preferences of potential adopters. As the primary contact and representative of the Rescue, you will be responsible for creating a positive adoption process, ensuring it is efficient, thorough, and focused on creating successful and lasting matches.We encourage a collaborative and positive work environment, open communication and continuous learning among the Matchmakers.
