Job descriptionA Secondary School in Wakefield requires a vibrant and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their Maths department on a full time basis, starting this October.The ideal candidate must be able to:
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons (KS3 & KS4)
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Engage and collaborate the whole department and across the wider school
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location – Wakefield
- Position – Maths Teacher
- Start Date – September
- End Date – N/A
- Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
- Contract Type: Long term
- Hours – 08:00 – 16:00
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Maths related degree of high classification
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
