As a Maths Teacher, you are expected to plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cover a range of topics from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra, geometry and statistics. - UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE equivalent)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- DBS (or the willingness to apply)
- Plan, prepare and teach a range of engaging lessons to enable students with varying abilities to progress through the KS3 & KS4 curriculum
- Be an outstanding and innovative classroom practitioner who can lead and enthuse students
- Reflect a passion for learning and drive ambition for every student in the classroom
- Creative and fresh approaches to teaching as well as being flexible and adaptable
Key Responsibilities :
- Modify lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Create individualised Learning Goals: Develop and implement personalised learning objectives for each student based on their specific needs and abilities.
- Adapt the National Curriculum to fit the needs of students with SEN.
- Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons that cater to varying levels of ability and understanding.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure that students receive the necessary support during lessons.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive for all students.
