Are you a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher looking for your next challenge in an excellent PRU School in Walsall?
Would you be looking to step into a school with a dedicated, specialist staff team who support their wonderful students to achieve aspirational, personal, and social outcomes? If so, we would love to hear from you! This is a full-time long-term role starting immediately!
Tradewind Recruitment are proudly partnering with an excellent secondary age PRU school for students with autism, with a diverse range of abilities. All the students are unique, and the school aims to personalise and tailor their learning and provision. The school’s outstanding residential provision offers an extended curriculum to identified students.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic, and keen to work with students with challenging behaviour. Suitable candidates will have the following:
- QTS
- Extensive teaching experience
- Experience in developing a curriculum for students with complex learning needs
- Experience of teaching secondary aged students
- Experience of SEN pupils
- Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Effective classroom management and control skills
- Excellent communication skills
