Mechanical PlumberBank, Greater LondonSalary – £43,000 + Optional Call OutWe are looking for a skilled Mechanical Plumber to join a team of 2 engineers and 1 apprentice based at a commercial office space situated close to Bank Station. This position is working on a multi-tenanted building over 8 floors but working on the landlord side of the building. This role involves performing both planned and reactive maintenance as part of a dedicated team of engineers.The ideal candidate we’re recruiting for will have experienced working in Facilities Management or alternatively have experience completing general maintenance tasks in a commercial environment. This site offers additional training opportunities and will openly look at someone who is looking to gain additional skillsets, qualifications or simply enhance the skills in the plumbing field.Key Responsibilities for a Mechanical Plumber:
- Carry out planned maintenance on plumbing systems and mechanical equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Perform repairs and installations as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Ideally you will have experience working on Chillers, Air Handling Units, Cooling Towers and other Plant Room equipmnt
Qualifications/Experience required for a Mechanical Plumber:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering/Plumbing (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing/Mechanical Engineering).
- Experience: Proven experience in mechanical plumbing, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
