Mechanical Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer
Due to rapid growth and increased business opportunity, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading organisation who design and manufacture equipment and machinery for the Nuclear and Defence industries.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for producing concept, scheme and detail designs for a variety of projects. They will work within a multi-discipline design team and be responsible for undertaking the design of equipment working individually and collaboratively with other Mechanical engineers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;:
- Producing design concepts and layouts
- Producing designs that conform to British and European standards
- Producing design documentation
- Undertaking design studies
- Producing design justification reports
Due to the nature of the work, SC clearance is advantageous and ability to obtain is essential.
This role offers agile and hybrid working including a 4 day week.
