I am working with a global-leading pharmaceutical company that has launched a drug in metastatic breast cancer and will be looking at other early indications for this product in other areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to educate and train HCP’s (doctors, other nurses, pharmacists etc) on how to communicate and how the science benefits the patient. This is a unique role with huge development opportunities outside of the NHS!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the UK Medical Education strategy/plan in breast cancer.
  • Use your extensive knowledge of the Oncology disease area, educational trends and regulations in the external environment.
  • Translate insights into meaningful strategies and education solutions that deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Deliver presentations and structured education programs leading to advances in our client being a recognised leader in Medical Education.
  • Act as Medical Education subject matter expert within the South West Midlands region, designing and deploying local Medical Education initiatives.
  • Follow guidelines to ensure quality submissions of educational programs that align with accreditation requirements and receive approval for credits to be used as conditions of medical license.
  • Be accountable for gaining, improving and maintaining educational access as well as safeguarding and advocating for a receptive environment to support future offerings.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving license.
  • University degree (Advanced degree in Nursing).
  • Extensive therapy area knowledge and insights into clinical management are essential. This should include recent clinical experience in Oncology.
  • Experienced in structured education programme delivery and facilitation skills (specialising in breast cancer oncology).
  • Extensive clinical knowledge of Breast Cancer and awareness of current scientific data/discussion.
  • Demonstrate project management and team leadership skills (working autonomously and collaboratively).
  • Positive, enthusiastic and collaborative team member who can contribute and work well in very dynamic group settings while demonstrating creativity, strategy, diplomacy, and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on sales force and customer communications.
