Overall Purpose of the Job
The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) will provide clerical support to the medical team working out of a clinic setting within an industrial client facility. The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) will be responsible for scheduling appointments, conducting client intakes, file maintenance and patient correspondence.
We are presently staffing for a FT Medical Office Assistant for one of our industrial client sites within the New Albany, OH area. The hours of this position will be Monday – Saturday 6:30AM to 6:30PM (three 12 hour shifts weekly shared between 2 cross-shifts). Candidates must be local and able to commute.
Key Responsibilities
- Make appointments for the personnel attending the clinic.
- Register personnel visiting the facility for consultation.
- Prepare required files.
- Manage and control the completion and filing of medical records.
- Prepared correspondence and reports.
- Maintain training records.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Competencies
- Basic computer, clerical, phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Required Work Experience
- 1-2 years of experience clerical and/or administrative assistant experience.
- Non-DOT drug and alcohol collections experience (preferred)
Required Languages
- Excellent written and oral English
