We celebrate diverse thinking and welcome contributions from all.What part would you play in this role?As a Medical Reports Expeditor, you will be responsible for completing routine medical records office work such as scanning, organizing, and filing medical documents. Communicates with government agencies, regional offices, and QTC personnel to obtain and/or send medical records data.In this rewarding role, you will:
- Review the case management system to identify outstanding reports and diagnostic results
- Communicate with medical offices and diagnostic facilities to obtain reports
- Upload diagnostic results received to the case management system
- Appropriately process Date of First Draft (DFD) signed reports in the case management system
- Prioritize all requests from the client to expedite delivery of a case
- Proactively notify Quality Assurance (QA’s) regarding the availability of uploaded and signed reports for high priority cases
- Process faxes received
- Other projects and duties as assigned
You must have:
- High School diploma, or equivalent (GED)
- 1 to 3 of relevant experience
- Medical office and/or administrative experience
Preferred:
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
- Organized with the ability to multi-task and perform with a high sense of urgency and follow through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills to both internal and external customers
- Proficient in relevant computer applications (i.e. MS Office, Faxcom, Adobe) with an ability to learn new software quickly
- Adaptable with the ability to follow a standardized workflow
Hours of operation:This is a on Site position at our Leidos QTC Health Services. 4400 N. W. Loop 410, Suite 100. San Antonio, TexasShift Schedule = Monday thru Friday 9:00AM to 5:30PMTraining of 90 days with some flexibility – Monday thru Friday 7:00AM – 5:30PM window of time.
- Probationary terms and conditions: Employment as a Medical Reports Expeditor will included successful completion of a 90-day probationary period during which you will be given objectives to achieve. This timeframe lets you assess your readiness for the position as well as allows Leidos QTC Health Services to determine your ability to successfully perform the job. You will be provided objectives, documentation, training and performance feedback during the probationary period as part of your assimilation to the role. After successfully completing the probationary period, you will be moved out of the probationary period status.
Pay Range: $17.20 – $18.93The Leidos QTC Health Services pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
