Neurology have an amazing opportunity to seek a Medical Secretary Support to work closely with our dynamic Neurology Secretarial team in supporting our Neurology Consultants across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, confident, enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team.You will be required to have demonstrable typing skills, be confident with good attention to detail and have great interpersonal skills, as you will be required to work with varied levels of hospital staff across the Neurology Services.Full training will be given.All successful applicants will be required to undertake typing testing prior to interview.Base Location: Poole HospitalInterview Date: TBCMain duties of the jobTo understand the role in more detail please read the full job description and person specification documents which are attached to this advert.About usOur values define who we are as #TeamUHD.   • Minimum 6 GCSE’s including English
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or relevant experience.

  • Experience of working at UHD in a similar role
  • NHS medical secretary experience

  • Computer literate with word processing experience.

  • Audio typing

  • Experience of Hospital systems: Camis/ EPR

KnowledgeEssential

  • Understanding of secretarial procedures
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word
  • Understanding of data protection
