Our Client is a reputable advocate for the designation of consultants and is dedicated to advancing the profession and delivering the benefits of these efforts to the client community. They are seeking an experienced Senior Membership Service Specialist to support the company in providing outstanding client support to its members and act as the face of the organization to new potential members and existing ones. Our client has embarked on a remarkable journey over the past 18 months. Using Covid to re-evaluate, our client has re-established their processes and vision from 1996 and modernized it to 2024.
As the Member Relations Coordinator, we are looking for a rockstar that is all about client and member experience. You will be the first line of contact and essential to ensuring that members, and potential members, receive an excellent and consistent customer experience. Your role will be to respond to member inquiries, address payments, renewals, and any status updates within the system. You will help with corporate events, and work with the team and the board to ensure smooth volunteer engagement. You will be expected to provide timely follow-up, report updates on membership to leadership and respond to requests to organize governance meetings. The MRC will help with the initial member engagement but facilitating warm welcomes and onboarding to the program. You will help initiate and communicate upcoming events for new and current members, and ensure the CRM is maintained with new and cancelled requests. As the primary point of contact, you will also process payments for membership dues, and let members know if there are any issues. You will be a CRM guru, who isnât afraid to find new efficiencies within the system or establish new processes to optimize the platform. As you are all about client experience, you will help engage members through new contact programs, finding value add initiatives, and report to leadership on trends or feedback. Your strong organizational skills will help launch your success in event planning, video call coordination, and general administration for a small but might NGO.
The Ideal Candidate will bring an amazing attitude and shine in the face of challenge. With a minimum of 3 years of experience working within a similar role within another association or membership driven entity, you will know how to deliver the optimal member experience. You will be able to demonstrate how you will work to help the team elevate members and how you will bring a unique perspective to membership growth and retention. Your exceptional client service approach to communications and your initiative in a small office will be essential. This role is part of a small team where everyone chips in and nothing is beyond anyone in the group. We are looking for someone who is NOT the quiet quitter, and will look at this role as something they want to take ownership of. Their pride in professional service and development will be evident. We are seeking someone who wants to have an impact and sees their role as something they can continue define within the parameters of requirements. Communication in English & French would be an asset and excellent organizational skills and engagement is necessary. While this role is a fully remote opportunity, you is ideally between Ottawa and Toronto and meet the required experience within a similar role for another association to be considered.
