Package DescriptionROLE: Mental Health Support WorkerLOCATION: Acocks Green, B27SALARY: £12.00 – £12.70 per hour*HOURS: 35 hours a weekSHIFTS: 8:30am – 9pm (Sleep-ins may be required to cover shifts where required 9pm- 8:30am)About WoodlandWoodlands supports 6 adults with Mental Health needs to lead fulfilling lives, Our tailored support focuses on developing effective coping techniques that bring tangible improvements to daily life. With our outcomes-focused approach, we empower people to maintain autonomy and control over their lives.As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
- Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
- Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
- Assisting with personal care as required.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
- Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
