The role will be part of the Kipling Marketing and Merchandising EMEA Team and will work closely with the Global Brand Merchandising department.
In this role, you will own the EMEA Kipling product assortment from defining the EMEA product strategy together with the EMEA lead to the “on the shop floor” implementation. Your mission is to translate and execute the Global product vision within your EMEA allocated territories.
You will be responsible for the Kipling product vision in EMEA. You will define the regional merchandising strategy together with the EMEA lead and implement tactics to deliver the best Kipling experience to customers. You will follow a global segmentation strategy but will tailor it to our specific regional needs and ambitions.
Main responsibilities
- Dive deep into numbers, trends, and customer insights to curate the ultimate product mix for the EMEA region;
- Track sales, assess product performance, and keep a pulse on the competition;
- Ensure the regional collections resonate with the EMEA audience while aligning with the global strategy.
Merchandising & Assortment Planning
- Own the regional product strategy from regional needs and concept to in-store execution;
- Select the must-have pieces, ensuring the right products hit the right markets;
- Build seasonal line lists and price structures to maximize margins and sales;
- Collaborate on global product development, offering data-driven insights.
Collaboration & Execution
- Work together with Global Merchandising, Planning, and Marketing teams;
- Bring collections to life through impactful sales presentations and trade show engagements;
- Ensure flawless execution of seasonal campaigns and demand creation tools;
- Manage and mentor a Merchandising Coordinator helping them grow alongside you!
Skills for Success
- Solid experience in merchandising (fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands);
- A sharp business mind with a degree in business, marketing, or a related field;
- Deep passion for the Kipling brand and a finger on the pulse of industry trends;
- Fluent English (written & spoken) – bonus points for additional languages!
- A love for traveling across EMEA to stay ahead of the market.
