A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an MES Technical Delivery Lead. You will lead technical project solutions and deployments of the MES software to maximize business benefits and in line with business process and technical standards across the full systems lifecycle, from identifying the business needs of clients and stakeholders to help build business cases and deliver technical solution.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Partner with local business leadership and project teams to develop business case for MES technical solutions and deployments bringing knowledge of process standardization and standard MES configuration
  • Work with site project teams and cross functional product teams to develop required technical solutions to ensure that realization outcomes are delivered.
  • Understand and educate local project teams on MES standards as they relate to MES system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, business processes and lifecycle management upgrades as applicable.
  • Educate sites in COMET deployment and operational methodology as it relates to MES Core environment to ensure that the interface between SAP and MES works as planned. Develop and apply detailed knowledge of the Manufacturing Systems Architecture as it relates to the ERP and MES interface.
  • Partner with Process Stewards to drive business process standardization across sites. Identify and resolve process standardization issues
  • Work with cross functional Product teams to deliver technical Integrations between MES and other key Manufacturing Systems / Instruments.
  • Evaluate future capabilities in MES, perform technical proof of concept evaluations, and develop / execute roll out strategy to site instances
  • Actively participate in the MES Product Team activities and take ownership of aspects of global standards and requirements

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree. MS in Computer Science or related field/MBA a plus.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Vaccines / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing front line supervision and/or project/automation/IT support.
  • Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on small sized projects. Strong hands on MES technical experience working on Application, but also interfacing to manufacturing other systems.
  • Excellent understanding of cGMP’s, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles. Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.
  • Proven facilitation, meeting/workshop management, project management and change management skills are essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems and associated business benefits. Project Management experience required.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
