Our client, in Ada, MI, is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to join their team. As a Microbiology Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Unit supporting the Microbiology Lab team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Microbiology Lab Technician 1st ShiftLocation: Ada, MIPay: $19/hrWhat’s the Job?
- Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Composite samples for Microbiological Quality Control Testing.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of tests, sample handling, and laboratory activities.
- Assist with other laboratory tasks as assigned by leadership.
What’s Needed?
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test methods.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Physical capability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50lbs as required by the job.
- 2 years of college in a science-related field and/or demonstrated experience in microbiology laboratory procedures.
