Global Services, 2K’s world-class in-house central resource agency, is seeking a Mid Level Gameplay Animator to support our portfolio of AAA games. You will be responsible for ensuring project quality and have the opportunity to contribute to multiple games as you’ll work across the entire 2K portfolio, for our studios worldwide, based in the EU. You’ll provide high quality animation in support of top-tier developers. This role is pivotal in developing the next generation of game content-creation services.

What will you do :

• Build character specific high-quality key-frame and mocap gameplay animations

• Collaborate with Tech Animators and programmers to implement animations with the game engine and improve animation workflows

• Ensure all animations are delivered against agreed technical specifications and quality bars, at the highest level, technically and aesthetically

• Animate in various styles : realistic humans, motion capture, creatures, sophisticated characters as required by projects

• Be proactive with troubleshooting and animation workflow, rigging and pipeline issues

Profil recherché

What will you make a great fit

• Strong experience of Maya, Motion Builder, as knowledge of industry-standard animation pipelines and workflows, Studio Library, Animbot, Blueprint

• Strong keyframe, mocap animation and mocap polish skills

• Outstanding at adapting to different styles of 3D game animation : keyframe, mo-key, motion capture, realistic, cinematic, stylized

• Experience working with game engines (Unreal, Unity, proprietary). animation trees and animation blending.

• Shipped one or multiple AAA titles, ideally using Unreal or a comparable engine

• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills

• A very solid understanding of traditional animation principles

• 2 to 4+ years gameplay animation, or equivalent experience

• Excellent at encouraging positive, collaborative working relationships with our internal partners and development teams.
