Band BPart time 5.00 hours per week – 38 weeks per yearThe Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our existing lunchtime team as soon as possible.The successful candidate will assist school in ensuring that our children have a safe, happy and healthy lunch time experience. They will have the ability to support our lunch time staff and to be responsible for promoting positive play experiences and opportunities for children during the lunch break.As part of the team you will be supervising the welfare of children in the dining room, playground and classroom to help provide a secure and happy environment for children at lunchtime.The weekly hours are 5 hours Monday to Friday (12 noon until 1pm) during term time only (38 weeks).The closing date for applications is Friday 25th October 12 noon with interviews held soon after.In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, Bidston Avenue will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates, this may include social media and video platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and You Tube. Online searches will only examine data that is publicly available, and the aim is to identify any incidents or issues.
