Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.Your ImpactAs a Mill Refinery Operator, you will play a key role in supporting refinery operations at the Brucejack Mine. Your work ensures the safe and efficient production of gold, contributing to high operational standards and safety compliance.As Part of Our Team, You Will:
- Assist in operating shaking tables and smelting furnaces to produce gold dore bars.
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participate in safety and environmental training to uphold compliance.
- Contribute to a strong safety culture within the team.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role:
- Minimum two years of experience in a mining or milling environment (gold room experience is a plus).
- A diploma or degree in engineering or earth sciences is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Work Environment:
- Remote camp location on a 14 days on / 12 days off rotation.
- Work in extreme weather conditions and close quarters with the team.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings (medical, background, drug & alcohol) are required.

This rate is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia.
