Professionally, ALIS IT Service administrators develop skills of our many domestic US or expanding number of International locations. For the adventurous, temporary travel opportunities allow you to provide support at other locations and aboard ships deploying with the system.This role is for an experienced Information Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus on Mission Planning for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Misawa AB, Japan.A Day in the Life .As an ALIS Administrator with our F-35 ALIS team partnering with our customer, you will wear many hats; mission planning admin duties, system admin duties, and network admin duties. As a Mission Planning SME you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, field any questions and/or concern and troubleshoot any reported problems. You will be assigned tasks You will be responsible to develop a group of less experienced Mission Systems Administrators. You will work closely with US Air Force Pilots and Administrators on Mission Planning and Debrief. You will oversee resolution of issues with Mission planning related IT and Crypto Systems.

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Interacting daily with users providing assistance on the ALIS product suiteo Perform COMSEC duties and adhere to requirements; learn CRO dutieso Support pilots in all aspects of Mission Planning/Debriefingo Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) installation and data updateso Support, administer, and monitor associated hardware/software and pilot accountso Assist in troubleshooting issues tied to mission planning and debriefo Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS system as neededo Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipmento Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysiso Coordinating extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilitiesThis is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week-which may include weekends-as dictated by mission requirements.Must have a valid US Passport.A level 4 employee Typically has 7-12 years of professional experience.What’s In It For You
