Mobile Service Technician/Mechanic required, covering Birmingham & the surrounding areas
- Basic Salary up to £35,000
- OTE £42,000
- Our client works a 24/7 operation so can offer hours that suit you.
Our client a well-established Dealership and they are currently seeking a Mobile Service Vehicle Technician to join their team. They are currently seeking a Qualified Technician with automotive workshop/mobile experience (dealership, garage) with at least NVQ Level 2 qualifications.As a Mobile Service Technician/Mechanic you will:
- Provide on-site vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs at customer locations.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid level checks directly at customer sites.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using mobile diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Offer on-the-spot repairs for various vehicle components, including alternators, batteries, belts, and hoses.
- Communicate with customers to explain needed repairs and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Ensure customer vehicles are safe to drive and perform necessary tests to verify the functionality of repairs.
- Adhere to safety and environmental standards while working on-site and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all services performed, parts replaced, and hours worked.
- Foster strong customer relationships by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
For this Mobile Service Technician/Mechanic role you will need the following:
- NVQ level 2, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Have previous Automotive Mobile Service Vehicle Technician experience.
- Own a full valid driving license.
