Professional Nanny required for a busy and professional family in the North Shields area.

The role offers a permanent role with the family and their 3 children, they are particularly interested to meet a Nanny looking for a long term position. The family are offering a 35 hours per week contract, with a flexibility that this could increase to offer further hours (with notice) particularly in the busier summer months.

Nanny Duties will include:

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
• Being flexible to work in harmony with parents and children’s schedules as required
• Being active and able to engage the children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and outdoor play
• Preparing and serving meals, keeping kitchen areas well organised
• Helping with the school drop off and collections
• Assisting with homework and educational activities
• Taking children to activities or out on day trips
• Organisation of children’s play areas and bedrooms
• Following parents’ instruction regarding routines, discipline, and household rules
• Ensuring the children’s safety at all times
• Opportunity to travel with the family
• Offering reliable and exclusive commitment to the family
• Care of the family’s much loved pets, including walking the dogs
• Help around the house, light housekeeping/tidying
• Rare overnight care and babysitting (agreed in advance)

The family have pets, so an animal lover is a must. The Nanny must be a driver with a full clean driving licence. A junior Nanny who has excellent childcare or teaching experience would be considered if they have the right qualities and maturity for the position.

Days: Scheduled hours between Mon – Sat to agree in advance
Hours: 35 per week min. with flexibility to increase.
