Overview of roleLocation: Speedibake Bradford/ HybridThis role is accountable for achieving sales and margin targets for all customers within their direct or indirect control and to develop plans which ensure the future profitable growth of Speedibake’s business with those customers. This is a business wide role which requires collaborative working across all business functions.Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with and assist the Head of Sales to determine customer and product strategies which ensure long term sales and profit growth.
- Develop and manage relationships with key people within the customers organisation and ensure that a strong and mutually beneficial relationship exists across all contact points including sales, NPD, Logistics and Technical functions.
- Achieve sales and margin targets for customers within direct control through effective business planning, commercial negotiation and the coordination of all available resources.
- Report progress against key business objectives to the Senior National Account Manager on a weekly basis; specifically, sales performance versus forecast and budget, NPD and business development projects and promotional plans.
- Carry out and present business reviews and reforecasting regularly.
- Liaise with Planning to ensure sales forecasts, both base and event, are accurate and to ensure that customer service issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- 1 x Direct report of a KAM.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties that will be required from time to time
The Right Person
- Knowledge of the UK Bakery Industry
- Experience with Food Service / Wholesale Route to Market
- A proven drives for results
- Possess a drive for quality and an understanding of the process
- Have a proven, demonstratable experience of leading and managing people
