Introduction
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is currently implementing a project “Ending Plastic Pollution Innovation Challenge (EPPIC)” that requires the services of a team of 02 National Consultants to Review and assess the plastic innovation landscape in Vietnam to provide recommendations for the way forward, as described in this document.
This Procurement Request is specifically to recruit the Team member of this assignment.
UNDP plans to develop a publication (book) to provide a comprehensive assessment of plastic innovation landscape in Viet Nam for 5-years period (2020 – 2025) and showcase pioneers in combating plastic pollution in Viet Nam. The publication will focus of two main parts:
(i) Part 1: An overview of the current plastic innovation landscape in Viet Nam
(ii) Part 2: Expand the market opportunities and increase financing unlocking by pioneering the most 15 effective plastic innovations for plastic pollution in Viet Nam.
This assignment will recruit a consultant team to develop Part 2 of this publication. The Consultants are expected to conduct the collection, review and evaluation of innovative solutions to develop UNDP’s publication pioneering 15 innovations to combat plastic pollution in order to enhance collaboration opportunities and improve financial unlocking for a more sustainable plastic circular economy in Viet Nam.
Period of assignment/services: 60 working days from March – September 2025
