The Opportunity

Manulife Bank is currently seeking a National Sales Coordinator to join our team!

The successful candidate will provide administrative and sales support for Manulife Bank’s sales team. They will be required to develop a thorough understanding of the Manulife Bank business, the uniqueness of its distribution channels, and the unique needs of our sales force.

With a dual reporting relationship to the Head of Advisor Sales and the Head of National Accounts, the National Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and sales support for the Head of Advisor Sales, Manulife Bank, and the National Leader of the National Accounts. The position will require occasional travel for training/meetings and the execution of events.

Responsibilities

For the Head of Sales, Advisor Channel

  • Calendar Management
  • Keeping leader informed of all upcoming events.
  • Managing vacation calendar for entire leadership team.
  • Expense Management
  • Checking all expenses submitted to the leader.
  • Correcting any errors by talking with the individual team members.
  • Collating info and maintaining a spreadsheet of important data.
  • Cheque requests and following up on these requests.
  • Administrative Requests
  • Triaging all requests and emails and replying as needed.
  • Sending out emails on behalf of the Head as requested.
  • Recording important presentations and meetings and highlighting minutes for distribution.
  • Courier/mail outs.
  • Event Planning
  • Source and plan smaller scale meetings for the leader (could be internal or external) including the creating and sending of invitations and all F and B requirements and tracking attendance.
  • Helps with Regional meetings and entire sales team meetings, planning and arranging including travel and hotel arrangements.
  • Advise the Head, other leaders and sales team of important initiatives and announcements that may have been missed.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Ad hoc reporting to the Head which includes weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ownership of small-scale projects including creating SharePoint and Teams sites and managing and updating the sites
  • And other duties as required as this position is always evolving.

For National Accounts Team:

  • Source and plan meeting venues and handle all logistics.
  • Confirm presentations and bookings as required.
  • Coordinate and monitor prompt distribution of marketing materials and sales aids as requested by sales team.
  • Create, distribute, and lead all invitations to meeting and events.
  • Assist in planning and organizing business promotional activities such as entertainment and dinner events.
  • Create firm scorecards and distribute as well as other firm reporting.

What we are looking for

  • Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong verbal communication and business writing skills.
  • Will provide some first level tech support so working knowledge of our systems and processes.
  • Ability to prepare and understand reports and identify discrepancies in reporting.
  • Able to exercise discretion and tact in situations involving sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience using digital communication platforms: including Word, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Will be the SME for many processes and policies for the entire sales team.
  • Post-secondary degree and/or the equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Banking/financial services experience is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location CAN, Ontario – Full Time Remote

Salary range is expected to be between $49,575.00 CAD – $82,625.00 CAD
