Job descriptionProspero Teaching are looking for specialist tutors to work in schools across Primary, Secondary and SEND, as part of the government initiative, National Tutor Programme.To be considered for the role you must hold QTS or QTLS or have previous experience teaching / tutoring.Tuition requirements range from:
- AM bookings, PM bookings and after school bookings.
- Between 1 to 3 hour sessions dependant on the students requirement.
- Working in a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 basis
- Immediate starts with regular work for the entire academic year.
- Rates of pay between £20 – £25.00 per hour.
What is expected:
- The ability to build a rapport and make progress with the student.
- Regular updates and progress reports provided to the school, carer or LAC officer, after every session.
- Attend meetings relating to the students’ progress.
- Plan schemes of work to engage the student.
Additional Attributes include:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exemplary organisation and time management
- Previous experience of working with students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD)
- Passion for supporting students to achieve their goals
