Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communication, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in qualitative research, note-taking, or documentation, particularly in workshop, focus group, or interview settings.
- Prior work experience in fields related to social development, gender, PSS, GBV, or community engagement is an asset.
- Exceptional listening skills with the ability to distill complex discussions into clear and concise notes.
- Strong writing and editing skills in [ English, Kurdish, Arabic], with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with qualitative data collection methods, including thematic analysis and coding.
- Ability to engage with diverse groups, including marginalized populations, with cultural sensitivity and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills to manage and document high volumes of information efficiently.
Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in using digital tools for note-taking, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or specialized transcription software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in research.
- Willingness to travel to workshop locations and attend sessions during non-standard hours, if required.
