The Trauma Orthopaedic service is looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Assistant’s on Ward 120 at Hull Royal Infirmary.The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the registered nursing team in providing direct high quality patient care. You will work under the supervision of the Ward Sister and in partnership with the registered nursing team.The hours of work will include 24/7 internal rotation through days and nights.The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their skills in orthopaedic nursing. A willingness to become link nurses in specific areas of patient care e.g. Dementia, Nutrition, Infection Prevention is essential.Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.Main duties of the jobYou must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, have a flexible approach to working and previous evidence of effective team working.We welcome applicants who have a genuine desire to develop within the NHS to deliver excellent care for patients.We expect applicants to be motivated, honest and reliable.
