Are you a Nursing associate looking for a new and exciting challenge, if so we would love to meet you. We are a 16 cot Local Neonatal Unit looking after babies of 27 weeks gestation and above.We have a strong commitment to family integrated care, have Platinum Bliss accreditation and this year achieved UNICEF baby friendly initiative stage 2 accreditation.We are looking for an enthusiastic nursing associate to join our team. You do not have to have experience of working with babies or children as extensive training and support will be provided for the right candidate.Main duties of the jobAs a Nursing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, family-centered, and compassionate care, working directly under the guidance of a registered neonatal nurse. Your key responsibilities will include:Providing expert care to families in a neonatal setting, promoting health, well-being, and independence.Demonstrating professional attitudes and behaviors in alignment with NHS Values, ensuring a positive impact on patient care.Acting as an accountable professional, ensuring that all clinical and care tasks are carried out to the highest standards.Collaborating effectively with the clinical and care team to meet the unique needs of each family.Assisting with specific clinical and care tasks under the supervision of a registered neonatal nurse, ensuring competency and skill in all aspects of care.Upholding patient dignity and providing compassionate, family-focused care in a sensitive and supportive manner.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families while contributing to a supportive, collaborative team environment.About usFrimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability confident employer and has been awarded the Gold for the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme.
