Job Title: Staff Nurse (RGN Only)Location: BedfordshireEmployment Type: PermanentSalary: Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on experience)Shifts: Fully flexible between days and nightsJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a reputable nursing home in Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a permanent position offering flexibility between day and night shifts.Responsibilities:– Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with current best practices, policies, and procedures.
– Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and monitor patient health.
– Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents.
– Collaborate with healthcare team members and liaise with family members to ensure comprehensive care.
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of nursing assessments, care provided, and residents’ progress.
– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
– Support residents in maintaining their independence and promoting their well-being.
– Participate in continuous professional development and training to ensure up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and standards.
– Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.Requirements:– Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
– Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
– Proven experience in a similar role within a nursing home or care setting.
– Fully flexible to work both day and night shifts.
– Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of nursing care practices.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
