An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) to work as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist. The role is based within the Care Home Liaison function of the Integrated Older Adult Community Mental Health Team.We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist with an interest working with older adults who wants to expand their clinical skills within mental health. You will have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.If you require any further information please contact us on the details provided.Main duties of the jobYou will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills using preceptorship and will work with and receive supervision from experienced therapists within the team. There are plenty of opportunities for professional development including evidence based practice forums, Occupational Therapy best practice forums, continuing professional development training sessions, and an AHP research forum.
