Are you an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about Mental Health? Do you want to join a supportive community mental health team in High Wycombe or Amersham?The Chiltern CMHT Adult Mental Health Team, based in High Wycombe and Amersham. Are looking for 2 Occupational Therapy professionals whom are committed to providing exceptional care and treatment to adults facing mental health challenges.Your work will be supported by a skilled leadership team from various fields, providing guidance and facilitating forums for Nursing and Occupational Therapists.This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.Main duties of the job
- Conduct specialist Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with service users and their families/carers, and present findings to the team.
- Manage a caseload of clients with complex Occupational Therapy needs, using evidence-based, patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Develop and monitor treatment plans to ensure the safety, well-being, and independence of service users, working closely with partner agencies when necessary.
- Provide specialist support and education to service users and carers regarding various aspects of occupational therapy, including equipment fitting.
- Engage in continuous professional development by participating in practice development initiatives, supervision, reflective practice forums, and maintaining competency through Continuous Personal Development.
