UNICEF’s Learning Passport program is at the forefront of this transformation, offering a comprehensive digital learning platform designed to support educators and students globally. To further aid this transformation we are excited to find and map digital learning materials for learners and educators globally.To that end, we are seeking to engage Online Volunteers through this assignment, especially to support us in researching open educational resources. Through this collaboration, the Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Education Section Programme Group at UNICEF HQ and contribute to improving the education, health, and well-being of children all over the world.Task type:Art and DesignTask description:We are seeking 2 Online Volunteers to support us by helping us find open educational resources in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Arabic primarily in the form of courses, animations, worksheets, lesson plans, ebooks, audiobooks/podcasts, textbooks, simulations, and interactive exercises.We are specifically looking for digital learning content that can be downloaded in SCORM, HTML, MP3, MP4, H5P, PDF, and EPUB for teachers in developing countries to use to supplement/complement their curriculum and help close learning gaps in children. We are looking for subjects such as math, literacy, language learning, science, digital literacy, online safety, AI literacy, mental health, fine and performing arts, social-emotional learning, climate, green skills, job skills, and more.Requirements:Microsoft Excel, familiarity with open educational resources and Creative Commons licenses, basic familiarity with Learning Management systems, file sharing, and curriculum mapping.
Candidates should have a background in pedagogy, especially in the area of K12, teacher education, or expertise in instructional technology, library science, or similar.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail are also important for this role.Work Hours: 11 – 15
