Description :SummaryThe Officer, Corporate Partnerships will play a supportive role in driving win-win partnership strategies resulting in ambitious revenue growth Save the Children. This position will lead and support ambitious partnerships that leverage the positive power of business to create sustainable impact for children at scale.The incumbent will grow and steward financial services and consulting companies to create partnerships that deliver shared value – simultaneous social and business impact – in support of Save the Children’s domestic and international programs. This individual is expected to help unlock the full potential of a corporation to contribute their financial resources, skills, products and voice to support the mission. This requires a collaborative approach working across various internal stakeholders to consult, strategize, align and implement alongside a corporation for greater scale, sustainability, and effectiveness of outcomes for kids.This position will be responsible for a $3.5 million fundraising target annually as well as supporting larger accounts. The Officer will report to the Managing Director, Corporate Partnerships.What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)Revenue Generation & Stewardship through Impact Partnerships (70%)

  • Develop, manage and steward 2-4 medium profile existing corporate partnerships and support the 1-2 high profile existing corporate partnership, together generating no less than $3.5 million in cash on an annual basis. This includes leading and supporting all applicable aspects of the partnership such as: programmatic funding support; cause promotions; licensing; product, media and/or skill donations; communications plans; workplace giving; and employee engagement.
  • Develop annual partnership strategies and plans that focus on growing and stewarding the overall account value, including growth in program investments, cause related marketing, employee engagement, in-kind donations, product R&D and advocacy.
  • Sett clear account objectives and reaching KPIs. Act as a liaison with other areas of the Agency to ensure client programs are effectively executed.

Contribute to the Success of the Overall Team Strategy (15%)

  • Support the Corporate Team strategy to drive impact partnerships with corporations. This could include, but not limited to, represent the Corporate Partnerships team on key working groups and lead special assignments or perform other duties as may be required for the benefit of the team such as serving as a mentor, managing an intern, etc.

Knowledge Management+ Visibility (15%)

  • Stay up to date in industry trends related to the private sector, shared value partnerships, cause marketing and international development. Ensure information sharing with other Save the Children member offices.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to drive visibility for Save the Children and our Corporate Partnerships. This could include ensuring visibility on social platforms by suggesting content and engaging on social as appropriate, and leveraging all other channels to drive engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Professional experience at an NGO or company in areas of fundraising or Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Candidates with significant consultative experience, with proven results conceptualizing, negotiating and delivering upon complex client needs
  • Strategic ability to meet goals; develop relationships in a positive trajectory and generate revenue (6 and 7 figure gifts)
  • Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to navigate challenging situations to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems and take initiative
  • Client focused and results oriented

  • Up to 25% travel, internationally & domestically

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of current theories and practices in corporate social responsibility
  • Experience working with or in financial or professional services industry
  • International experience and working knowledge of additional languages
  • Experience managing all types of complex donor relationships, inclusive but not limited to complex multi-country grants, cause-related marketing campaigns, and Shared Value initiatives

CompensationSave the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • Geo 1 – NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $84,150 – $94,050 base salary
  • Geo 2 – Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $76,500 – $85,500 base salary
  • Geo 3 – Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $68,850 – $76,950 base salary

The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.
