Coventry Careers Hub operates within Coventry’s Education Service and is delivered by ThinkHigher on behalf of the council. Being part of the University of Warwick allows us to work collaboratively with many colleagues working in Widening Participation to support schools and colleges and allows us to ensure our work is streamlined and supporting those who need it the most. They will have an understanding of the Careers Education landscape in England and be keen to strive to help and support colleagues working in Careers based roles at Schools and Colleges across Coventry. The successful candidate will communicate with a range of different stakeholders with ease and be comfortable and confident delivering presentations to a range of individuals about our work. They will take pride in project management, regularly monitoring the success of our programmes and intervening when required to ensure projects are delivered to an excellent standard.For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.About the DepartmentThinkHigher is a consortium in partnership with Coventry University, University of Warwick, Warwickshire College Group, North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, Coventry and Warwickshire Careers and Enterprise Company, Coventry City Council and Warwickshire County Council and is one of 29 Uni Connect Partnerships, funded by the Office for Students. Its vision is to establish authentic relationships with students, families and education staff to influence their decision making and ensure all young people in the region make informed and ambitious decisions about their future.ThinkHigher is the delivery partner for Coventry Careers Hub, delivering on priorities set out by the Careers and Enterprise Company on behalf of Coventry City Council alongside other local authorities within the West Midlands Combined Authority.
