Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visitWhat You’ll Be DoingYou will be working with the Corporate and Commercial Loan Operations team, on behalf of US and Canadian Large Corporate and/ or Canadian Commercial Banking clients, within Credit Processing Services (CPS), Capital Markets and Wealth Management Operations. As an Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for processing corporate and commercial loan products, updating loan systems (Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS), etc.), liaising with internal/external business partners, and disbursing funds to clients ensuring all due diligence requirements are followed and Service Level Agreements are met, by managing multiple concurrent objectives, activities, and making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview. The hours are M-F 9:30am to 6:00pm, however, this may change depending on business needs and overtime may be required due to high volumes.How You’ll Succeed

  • Processing & Attention to detail – Ensure that transactions are completed accurately, on a timely basis, and in accordance to CIBC’s policies and procedures while dealing with high volumes and tight timelines. Process loans terms, maintain loans and collect appropriate interests and fees with minimal supervision.
  • Providing Exceptional Client Service – Provide high level of customer service to internal and external business partners via email and phone calls.
  • Teamwork – Collaborate as a team to ensure all loan requests are fulfilled and provide backup support for your colleagues to succeed as a team.
  • Experience – Experience with corporate and commercial loan processes and products (Risk Free Rate (RFR) / SOFR, CORRA, demand loans, sub-credits, Letters of Credit, non-performing loans, etc.), loan advancing, rollover and conversion. You have working knowledge with MS Office applications (advanced Excel). Experience with Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS) will be an strong asset.
