Who you are: The primary role of the Operations Coordinator will be to support the Senior Operations Manager with Scholarships & Grants-related tasks and assist our Events and Logistics Manager in the administrative tasks involved with planning, budgeting, and executing CIEE events.
Successful candidates will be responsible for understanding the ins and outs of CIEE’s portfolio of Scholarships & Grants and CIEE Events. You will be part of the Institutional Relations Operations Team within the Global Enrollment Management Group. While directly reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will also internally liaison with Enrollment Advisors, Admissions Advisors, Managers of Institutional Relations, and other members of the Global Enrollment Management Group. As the industry leader, CIEE takes pride in the level of funding available for our Study Abroad programs.What you’ll do:

  • Assist the Senior Operations Manager with timely review of Scholarships and Grants Applications.
  • Respond to e-mails in a group inbox from both internal and external clients regarding CIEE Scholarships and Grants within a 24-hour response time.
  • Mail merge Scholarships and Grants related decisions to students and their institutions.
  • Assist the Senior Operations Manager with review and updates to materials related to CIEE’s diverse portfolio of Scholarships and Grants.
  • Assist Logistics and Events Manager with CIEE event planning, expense reporting and budgeting.
  • End-of-month expense auditing for all CIEE Events.
  • Study Fair support:
  • Track requests.
  • Ship and track materials.
  • Request Formula links.
  • Support Individual Site Visit requests.

Attend events if needed.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Document e-mail communications within our CRM.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service orientated field required.
  • Study abroad experiences are strongly preferred.
  • Must have a high “emotional quotient” (EQ); be approachable, friendly, and able to exude empathy, and control in all communications.
  • High aptitude for attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, strong written and oral communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate initiative while also being open to feedback and taking direction when needed.
  • Budgeting and accounting experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office 365 (especially MS Excel) and Salesforce skills are preferred but will train the right candidate.
