Operations Crime ManagerRole type : Police StaffContract duration : PermanentContract type : Full TimeNumber of posts : 1Division : SPA – SCOTTISH POLICE AUTHORITY FORENSIC SERVICESDepartment : managementSection : OperationsLocation : Scottish Crime Campus GartcoshCurrently Scottish Police Authority Forensic Services have guidance in place that allows appropriate roles to be operated on an agile basis, should you have an interest in working more flexibly then we would encourage your application.Grade : 11Salary : £74,100Please note, if this is a paid role and the role is part time then the salary quoted will be pro rata based on the hours worked per annum.Hours per week : 35Competency and value framework (CVF) level : 3Closing date : 19/04/2024, 12:00Job advertLead, direct and co-ordinate the deployment of Forensic Services Crime Scene to Court model to all our partners to ensure effective service delivery in line with contractual agreements, service level agreements, quality standards and the Strategy plan and to develop new opportunities in these areas.You will be educated to minimum 2nd class Hons degree/equivalent academic qualification in a relevant science related subject or have good knowledge of Forensic Science examination, and proven forensic or crime scene examination experience and proven experience in effective management of people and resources.You will have highest levels of integrity and professionalism.Extensive experience of communicating and negotiating effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing and able to demonstrate an ability to analyse complex issues, assess their business impact and resolve these effectively.Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and organise teams to achieve desired KPIs and goals.Excellent Interpersonal skills/team working and personal effectiveness.This post is a full time permanent post. Posts will require Management level Vetting.
