Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?​The Operations Manager, RBC Insurance Field Sales provides support to the Field Sales leadership team to achieve superior business performance and “best in class” efficiencies by supporting initiatives. They are accountable for managing the day to day operational activities within Field Sales for overseeing premise and equipment management, onboarding, health and safety protocols. Works in collaboration with partners to drive the effectiveness of Field Sales through identifying and providing direction on process and efficiency improvements and problem resolution solutions. This role is accountable to successfully support the integration and implementation of required operational initiatives and activities and that all operational processes are documented. This role must also balance the rewards of the team’s efficiencies and due diligence of procedures, process and guidelines relative to risk mitigation within business operating plan.What will you do?Collaborate with partners to implement operational effectiveness initiatives and consistencies related to Field Sales operations, licensing & compliance, training and recruitment, as well as capacity planning in an effort to optimize performance across Field SalesAccountable for day to day store operations/premises issues and premises initiatives (store openings, closings, renovations and relocations)Responsible for overseeing and management of Field Sales Health & Safety Program, BCP programSupport Leaders on activities to contribute to the achievement of Client Survey goals and responds to feedback by developing and implementing action plans to close the gaps (focusing the client experience where it matters most to the client)Key contact with Telecom, Premise Management teams and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)Manage technology & equipment profile and inventory monitoringResponsible for maintaining manuals and procedures documents and implementing operational improvements to make it easier for customers and employeesActs as a Field Sales liaison/SME with functional partners on various projects and initiatives i.e. underwriting, corporate real estate, telecom, sales effectiveness, licensing, client services)What do you need to succeed?Must-haveExceptional organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of metrics and service levels, with experience in the creation of action plansFlexible to work hours specific to the business as requiredSome site travel is required to various store locations in the GTA.
