Adecco is currently hiring a full-time proactive and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor – Nights to oversee and manage all operational activities during the night shift for our client in Delta, BC. This role ensures smooth workflow, safety compliance, and optimal productivity while coordinating with various departments. In this role you will be responsible for managing subcontractors to ensure the scope of work is completed, providing training, liaising with the Managers, resolving issues or preventing escalations, and conducting inspections to assure quality. This role requires you to have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience managing night operations in a fast-paced environment.Pay Rate: $50K – $60K/year (based on experience)Location: Delta, BCJob type: Permanent| Full-timeResponsibilities:Subcontractor ManagementParticipates in the hiring, training, and supervision of subcontractors and their activitiesEnsures that subcontractors are compliant with requirements such as security clearances, GST, business licensing, WCB, liability insurance, etcEnsures that Alpine standards are adhered to through subcontractor workConducts weekly or monthly audits or site inspections to ensure that work is completed as required and completes reports using technologyMust be willing to work afternoon, nights and graveyard shiftsLiaises with clients to ensure that performance standards are met and complaints are addressedPrevents problems from escalatingEnsures that scheduled hours and actual hours are in line with budgetOversees or coordinates equipment repairsEnsures subcontractor hours are in line with budgetQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.Supervisory or leadership experience in operations, janitorial, or building maintenance or a similar environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and team management skills.Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory or operations management systems is an assetRequires flexibility in shift times, as interaction with night cleaning crew will also be required.Must be fully vaccinated and be able to obtain CPIC clearance.Frequent travel within a geographic region is required.Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving abstract.Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaWhy join us?Base salaryMonthly Vehicle and Gas AllowanceBenefits planTraining and leadership development opportunitiesCareer growth and progression opportunitiesAre you interested in this position?
