Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with an area of the Government of Alberta to recruit for an Overpayment Resolution Administrator. This is a 6 month contract with potential for extension located in downtown Edmonton.In this role, you will review financial documents, assess overpayments, and ensure compliance with policies. If you have strong attention to detail and have experience working behind the scenes on complex financial documentation reviews, this opportunity could be for you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Overpayment Reviews: Analyze client bank statements and financial documents to determine if overpayments exist according to existing policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, including other administrative staff and other overpayment specialists, to manage overpayments using the Overpayment Tracker. Ensure cases are assigned and in line with policy.
  • Communication & Systems Management: Utilize internal systems like TOI, Compass, Recoveries, and Mobius to track overpayments and collaborate with other departments.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Draft letters and other professional correspondence related to overpayments, and keep detailed records for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Policy & Legislation Guidance: Be well-versed in specific government policies and Income support overpayment legislation and capable of explaining policies to other internal teams, ensuring compliance throughout the process.
