Our work is rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and in our values of Solidarity, Courage, Participation, Perseverance and Accountability.The successful candidate will be a key member of the Enterprise Systems Team(EST). A dynamic and energetic team that is responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving our Enterprise Systems such as our ERP, CRM, HRIS, collaboration, content management, BI platforms and other “one off” solutions. A small EST provides support to approx. 500 staff located in 20 countries.Our Enterprise systems are built on 4 core platforms, namely Salesforce.com, Microsoft, Unit4 Business World, and Box.com. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to design, develop, and deliver training programs that enhance staff proficiency in using enterprise applications.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Induction Plans:
- Design and deliver a comprehensive induction plan for new employees, focusing on the effective use of Trócaire’s software applications and digital tools.
- Work closely with HR and department heads to integrate application training into the overall onboarding process.
Create and Maintain Training Resources:
- Develop, update, and manage a suite of training materials, including user guides, manuals, video tutorials, and e-learning modules tailored to Trócaire’s specific applications.
- Ensure that all training resources are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with Trócaire’s values and operational needs.
Conduct Training Sessions:
- Facilitate training sessions in various formats, including in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and blended learning environments.
- Customize training delivery to cater to different learning styles and the specific needs of various departments and roles.
Evaluate and Improve Training Programs:
- Collect and analyse feedback from training participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Use insights gained to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and user support strategies.
Collaborate with Internal Teams:
- Work in close collaboration with IT, HR, and International to ensure that training programmes are aligned with Trócaire’s strategic goals and the latest software developments.
- Participate in the roll-out of new applications or system updates, ensuring that training materials and programmes are updated accordingly.
Maintain Training Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of all training activities, including attendance, participant feedback, and training outcomes.
Data & Reporting (International)
- Work with end users in Country Offices and Head Office to ensure data is entered in Salesforce in a timely manner and to the required quality.
- Ensure compliance in data entry/data quality by identifying gaps and providing appropriate reporting to Senior Management and Country Management Teams to drive compliance.
RequirementsEssential RequirementsEducation:
- IT/Training qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Train the Trainer certification is highly desirable
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and delivering end user training.
- Experience with software applications, particularly in an NGO or non-profit environment, is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn and teach new software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
- Proficiency in developing training materials using Microsoft Office, e-learning platforms, and other relevant tools.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
Qualities:
- Highly organised, proactive, self-motivated.
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team, good team player and willing to assist and share knowledge.
- Detail focused.
- Delivery and service focused.
Other:
- Willingness to travel to Trócaire’s overseas offices and within Ireland/Europe from time to time.
