About The Company:We are delighted to be assisting a small family-run business based in Gillingham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a part-time, permanent basis.The Role:Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to manage a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks. This part-time position requires you to work Monday to Friday during the afternoons and offers a competitive salary of £35,000 pro rata.Key Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and payments
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling accounts and ledgers
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with financial reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Handling general administrative tasks related to finance

Desirable Skills:

• Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
