Practice Plus Group are pleased to announce that they will be taking over the healthcare contract at HMP Wymott, a Category C prison in Lancashire from 1st April 2025.We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Engagement Lead to join our team there from April. The prison houses around 1100 men with a variety of health needs and within this role, you’ll be an integral part of the improvement of their engagement activities and satisfaction.SalaryThis position is full time working 37.5 hours per week. You will receive an annual salary of between £28247 and £ 32346 per annum depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checksWhat you’ll be doingAs a Patient Engagement Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Be responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact and respond to patient engagement enquires from staff, external partners and patients
  • Be responsible for the oversight and management of the health champion peer support model
  • Ensure statutory and organisational requirements are met, that patient engagement activities are conducted frequently
