How can you make a difference?

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the HR Manager in Payroll Section,

the Intern will be responsible for supporting the following:

• Create Learning opportunities and help gain knowledge in Payroll and related HR processes.
• Assist in the process of data analysis to establish key trends.
• Work with the stream leads in assessing the key trends emerging out of payroll funding process.
• Review the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Gateway step by step guides (SGSBS) in payroll and update.

The intern may also perform ad hoc administrative, analysis, coordination and support functions in support of the Payroll Section.

As an advocate for every child, you will have…

  • Current enrolment in a degree program at the Bachelor or master’s level or recent graduate (max 2 years ago) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or other related fields.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in challenging environment and in multicultural team of international professionals. 
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with tight deadline. 
  • Strong commitment and drive for results demonstrated.
  • Extreme attention to detail, sound judgement and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, culturally and social sensitive.
  • Eligible applicants must be nationals of EU countries or be eligible to work in Hungary.
  • The selected intern will be required to provide proof of enrolment in a health/accident plan prior to taking up the assignment.

Contract Duration and Terms

  • This contract is for an initial 3-month duration, a minimum of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week
  • Full-time working schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Intern is expected to be in the office when needed for specific activities
  • The anticipated start date of this internship is April 2024
  • This full-time internship is paid with a stipend of net HUF 295,633 per month
  • Individuals must fund their travel and living expenses
  • Individuals must have proof of medical insurance covering their time at the duty station
  • Individuals are personally responsible for obtaining any required visa or residence permit, covering the entire period of their internship
  • Interns may take up to 2.5 days per month off work for any reason, including for medical reasons. The stipend will be reduced for any absence beyond this quota
