About the Opportunity
- Manage full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll (salaried and hourly)
- Handle year-end T4 slips, reconciliations, and regulatory audits
- Submit timely reports and payments to government agencies, benefits providers, WSIB, RRSP, and manage statutory deductions
- Process terminations and issue Records of Employment (ROEs)
- Maintain and manage accurate HR data for regular and ad hoc reporting
- Collaborate with Finance on reporting, general ledger, and audits
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and payroll audits
- Support HR with employee file maintenance
- Handle monthly headcount and turnover reporting
- Administer ADP Workforce Now for payroll, RRSP deductions, and attendance
- Prepare and submit monthly EHT reports
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll inquiries and system issues
- Ensure proper use of attendance tracking systems
- Assist with payroll procedures, reporting, and analysis
- Manage RRSP program administration and reconciliation
- Perform month-end account reconciliations and assist with AP and donation support as needed
About You
- Minimum 2+ years of Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
- Must have previous accounting experience including Accounts Payable, and supporting with period-end close and audits
- High proficency with MS Excel is required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- CPA in progress is highly preferred
- NPO or Health care is an asset
- Experience with ADP WorkForce Now or Great Plains is considered highly preferred
Salary Range
