We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist with certified payroll experience for a direct hire opportunity located in Irvine.Position will be working onsite.Hot Buttons:

• Construction industry experience

• LPC Tracker, DIR, DAS 140 and DAS 142

• Vista Software

Payroll Specialist Duties:

• Will be responsible for the processing the weekly payroll for prevailing wages, union and non-union payroll
• Receive all timecards from the electronic system, audit timecards and handle any corrections
• Print paychecks and handle the direct deposit
• Process manual checks, final paychecks and bonuses
• Set up templates for specific jobs to accommodate prevailing wage for federal projects
• Process the union payroll
• Handle garnishments, deductions and ensure correct taxation
• Manage the vacation accruals and audit
• Handle the weekly payroll reporting in LCP Tracker, DIR or any other specific software
• Monthly union reporting, Federal Department of Labor reporting, CAC payments and Fringe benefits

Payroll Specialist Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of construction payroll experience
• 1+ years of certified/union payroll experience
• LCP Tracker experience
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• CPP or FPC is highly desired
