PE TeacherLocation: LedburyWorking Hours: 8.30am- 3.30pmStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: From £157.66 (paid to scale)Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in near Ledbury. Situated in a peaceful rural setting, the school is an independent, specialist day school providing education services to children and young people aged 11-19 years, with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and communication and interaction difficulties, as well as a range of other associated needs. This includes diagnoses such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), specific learning difficulties (SpLd) and speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This role is due to run in line until the end of the academic year.Moving forward there is an opportunity for the right Teacher to be taken on to school contract.Experience within this type of environment would be helpful however, if you are confident you would be a good fit for the school we would love to hear from you!Roles
- Take PE lessons with both girls and boys.
- Take a lead on lunch time and after school activities including sport fixtures.
- Be a positive role model to the pupils encouraging Leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Bring a positive attitude towards fitness and show how having a healthy lifestyle can be enjoyable.
- Find ways to keep pupils engaged and keep lessons fun.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in sports department.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
- Qualified teacher status.
- 2 most recent references.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
