Description:
Join our mission of the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois Health and Health Sciences System is to support the teaching, research, and patient care functions of UI Health (UIH) by providing high-quality, customer focused laboratory test and services. Join our team, in one of our great in-office locations in Greater Lawn and North River and Englewood and Lawndale and Greater Grand/ MID South MHC- CDPH with addition but not limited to coverage for Northstar and Wellness Homes if coverage is required . This is a Full-Time and a multiple location.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Data entry with patient correct demographic information and insurance information.
• Conduct venipuncture procedure
• Collect and process specimens with accuracy and be able to reference test menus.
• Store specimens correctly and properly to different temperature requirements
• Re-stocking, supply management
• Phlebotomist Responsibilities
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible to schedule changes and overtime if needed by client site
• Able to communicate with the proper team members to insure efficiency and accuracy

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy Certificate
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Be on time and ready for your shift
• Good Personal Hygiene
• Able to work as a team or individually
